Star Style: Miss Selfridge Gossip Girl Collection
Miss Selfridge have launched a new collection based on the hit TV Series Gossip Girl. The collection features dresses inspired by the 4 main female characters Blair, Serena, Jenny and Vanessa.
The collection was launched a week ago with a surprise guest Chase Crawford who plays heart-throb Nate in the TV show. The dresses are based on each characters style such as Blair’s smart and refined classic style, Jenny’s edgy gothic inspired look, Serena’s sexy and sophisticated style and Vanessa’s tribal style.
“We are delighted to be working with the Warner Bros television series, Gossip Girl,” Yasmin Yusuf, creative director of Miss Selfridge said. “The dresses we’ve created based on the characters fit perfectly with our spring/summer 2010 range. Our customers love the show and the styles of the girls, so the partnership is a perfect match.”

For me, the collection generally is a success there is something to fit everyones style; personally i think the Blair look is the most on trend.

What fantastic news hey! British pop princess Pixie Lott is set to design 2 collections for brand Lipsy – famous for cute party dresses loved by the public and celebrities alike! She will contribute to 2 collections for the fashion brand, the first launching in for Summer 2010!
Pixie said: “I have always been a big fan of Lipsy and regularly shop in their stores. I love what Lipsy stands for and I am very excited at the thought of working with such a talented and creative team. It’s going to be great fun.”
Lipsy are launching 2 collecitons with Singer Pixie Lott the summer range will consist of two distinct looks: ‘Pixie Festival’ and ‘Pixie Party’.
‘Pixie Festival’ is aiming for a more relaxed look such as Maxi Dresses, Cotton sun dresses, denim and slouchy vests.
‘Pixie Party’ is much more focused on great party wear with attention to detail such as studded dresses, embellished dresses and animal print!
